Input: Two images from NASA’s MODIS Rapid Response System 1. http://lance-modis.eosdis.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/imagery/single.cgi?image=Canada.A2002188.1635.2km.jpg 2. http://lance-modis.eosdis.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/imagery/single.cgi?image=EastCoast.A2002188.1635.1km.jpg These two input images were subsetted and merged to generate this image - http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/NaturalHazards/view.php?id=9826. Further, the subsetted image was copied and a star placed to mark Baltimore, MD. Fire locations in Quebec were highlighted.
