The difference in the multi-model mean number of days with a maximum temperature greater than 32ºF under the higher emissions scenario (A2) for 2070-2099 relative to 1971-2000 was plotted for the southeast United States.
1. For each model at each grid point, the number of days with a maximum temperature greater than 32ºF under the higher emissions scenario (A2) was calculated for two periods: 1971-2000 and 2070-2099. 2. At each grid point, the mean number of days with a maximum temperature greater than 32ºF was computed for the two time periods by averaging the following models: - cgcm3_t47 - cgcm3_t63 - cnrm - echam5 - echo - gfdl_2.1 - hadcm3 - pcm 3. At each grid point, the difference in the number of days with a maximum temperature greater than 32ºF was calculated for 2070-2099 minus 1971-2000. 4. Data were plotted for all grid points in the southeast United States.
